Pål Anders Ullevålseter facts

Pål Anders Ullevålseter (39) is a Norwegian motor cyclist who has participated in the legendary Rally-Dakar every year since 2002. In 2008, it should have been the seventh time Pål Anders attended Rally Dakar.

As the first Norwegian ever to participate in 2002, he came in ninth.
In 2003, he was number seven.
In 2004, he did even better, and became “best private driver” when finished fifth.
In 2005, he felt and broke his collarbone and had to give up the tenth day.
In 2006, he was back again, and finished sixth.
In 2007 he was number four (after finished number two in seventh and fifteenth stage).

For several years he has also been doing well in the Desert Rally World Cup.
In 2004, he was the winner.
In 2006, he got bronze.
In 2007, he got silver.

Pål Anders started doing motor cross in 1991. A few years ago, he found out that Norway was too small for him. He wanted to take off internationally, and chose Enduro. Enduro means endurance, and set very hard requirements to the competitor’s physical and psychic shape. If you ask him, he’ll tell you that endurance and strength are his best qualities.

In the spring of 2007, Ullevålseter won the celebrity contest “Ice dance” on TV2, a national TV channel. Anna Puschkova was his dance partner.
